Perhaps
the most famous nearby attraction is the Spanish
Steps which is a great meeting point for travellers
and home to La Barcaccia and Shelley’s house.
Today the Spanish Steps contains the most expensive
real estate in Rome with prices in 2004 soaring
to 4 and a half thousand euro per square metre.
Consequently, as you can imagine the shops around
the Hotel Pincio are not the cheapest - a stroll
along the notoriously expensive designer stores
in Via dei Condotti will confirm this. Ask our
concierge for some advice on the best shopping
in Rome and where to find the best bargains.
